An Archer Field PC is FM Approved Class I Div 2 certified for use in hazardous conditions. The non-incendive Archer can be used safely where explosive gases or liquids may be present: refineries, chemical plants, gas or oil pipelines, compressor and pump stations, oil field production facilities, and other sites.The non-incendive rating complements the other tough standards the Archer meets and makes it unbeatable for rugged field work.

In addition to its IP67, the highest possible waterproof and submersible rating, the Archer meets military standard MIL-STD-810F for standing up to shock, vibration and dust. Safe operation in difficult and dangerous field conditions makes the Archer the ideal mobile computer for leak detection, condition assessment, regualatory compliance, inspections, mobile GPS and assest management.
