Mobile Electron (ME) Privacy Policy
ME respects the privacy of anyone who uses the ME webstore. ME gathers important information from our visitors and customers. We publish this Privacy Policy to communicate how we gather and use information about you, how we protect it, and how you can participate in its protection.
Collected Information
We require people who wish to make on-line purchases utilizing the ME web site to register as Customers on the ME web site (the "Webstore") and to give us contact information. We ask for contact and account information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and password, in addition to financial and billing information, such as billing name, address and credit card number.
ME uses the information we collect to set up access to the Webstore for individuals and their organizations. Except as we explicitly state at the time we request information, or as provided here, we do not disclose to any third party the information provided.
ME has referral relationships with third-party companies and individuals ("Referral Partners") who refer their customers to ME. Customers who become paying customers of ME products and services through a Referral Partner are considered customers of both ME and the Referral Partner. ME and a Referral Partner may share customer contact as well as account, financial and billing information with respect to their joint business relationship with the customer. The sharing of this information allows ME and the Referral Partner to establish the identity of the shared customer and determine referral fees owed. Shared contact and account, financial and billing information is governed by the ME Terms of Service. ME does not share your business data with Referral Partners.
ME uses a third-party intermediary to manage credit card processing. This intermediary is solely a link in the distribution chain and is not permitted to store, retain, or use the information provided, except for the sole purpose of credit card processing. Of course, users of the Webstore are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration and passwords.
ME may also collect certain information from visitors to the ME Web site and customers of the Webstore, such as Internet addresses. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems and to administer the ME Web site and Webstore in order to constantly improve quality.
